Killdeer had a great idea, to have an album of all the kids and people enriched by the Maddog and Vermoster youth bow program.

I dont have pictures here but know Mom and Dad helped uncle Andy build an indoor range so they dont have to shoot in the cold. Oliver never wanted to come in after mom and dad were cold in the -15 Wisconsin weather. lol.
Kids will show us up every time!
Great pics!

oh! that's a quiver my uncle made for me when I was 12 years old...that was a while ago. notice the knife sheath for the old Western hunting knife. Compliments the bow, don't you think! More Maddog pics to come...
Great pics everyone. Back when I first started bulding bows I made the recurve (later called the pup once I went into business) with the idea I was going to use some scraps I had left over to make a crossbow. When I got the first one out of the form I thought it would make a cool bow for young kids to use. I dumped the crossbow idea and never gave it another thought. I made some of the 36" recurves for my friend's kids and once I started the business in 2006, the pup recurves were the first bows I sold. It all started by accident pretty much. I've tweaked the design a little, but they are still pretty close to how they started.
Thanks for some great bows that make great memories, Mike!
Here are some pics again of my daughter after winning her Maddog "Pup".

Thank you Charlie for doing this. Oliver loves to shoot his bow. He used to keep it here, but now takes it homw in between to shoot there also. Thank you Mad Dog for starting this program. When Charlie comes home in June
he will help me set up a give away with some of my extras here.
Here are a few pictures of Ansley, my 7 yr. old granddaughter with her Maddog Pup longbow. She loves shooting and is getting better and better at it. Mike makes great bows at an unbeatable value.
