I believe that is the correct term. Going up in early Aug to scout. This is going to be back pack 10-12 day hunt.

I'll be with two other military guys. They are both still over where everyone hates us.

I'll be the only trad hunter on this trip. I can't recall the exact areas we are considering but its basically south central, West central and North Central.

We will not be in any wilderness areas. Any ideas on areas we can get in away from atvs and road hunters? Not afraid to burn some boot leather.

Thanks guys. I have my area map highlighted but it is at work. The nearest towns are Laramie, Sheridan and Cheyenne. Here is a link to the map online.

PM'd you, but if Randy has ideas, you might listen very closely! I do lots of elk hunting, but not a lot of elk killing!
