There was a Thread on here awhile back, I am sorry I cant exactly remember the Title Word for Word, but it had to do with "Fred Eichler and what he has done for Traditional Archery".
This is an Apology I made to Terry Green, and another Admin. It goes to ALL of the Fine Folks of the TradGang Family , and I only hope Y'all can Forgive me for my Uncalled for Actions.
"I want to Formally Apologize for "Going Off" as Terry so eloquently put it. He was Right, and so were You. I admit that I had no call to "Blow Up" the way I did, and I Really Am Sorry that it happened.
I assured Terry, and now I will assure You that it will NEVER happen again. The main complaint, I guess I had, was that I didnt feel I HAD to Explain myself... To You or Anyone else. It was a Nominally Normal Question, and My Comment on the Thread was Uncalled for, Especially the way it was Worded.
Guess I had a burr under my saddle for nothing that was anything to do with this Site, or anyone on it. My Personal Business intermingled with this Fine Website, Truely My 2nd Home , and I Offended a LOT of Mighty Fine People that didnt deserve it.
So, hoping I answered any Questions You, or Anyone else has, I do Humbly, and with All Sincerity Apologize for My Uncalled for Outburst.
Hoping for YOUR Forgiveness,
Sincerely and May God Bless You All,
Bill "Shakes.602" Kunkel
accepted, now lets move on. :campfire:
Bless You Tim!
Bill, we all go off the edge of the envelope at times, I do it often myself. its in the past.
Bill,
I don't know you and it was for that reason I did not judge you for your actions on that thread. I now am glad I didn't pre-judge you based on that one instance. The fact that you took the time and cared enough about this community as well as about how the community views you tells me all I need to know about you. You are top notch in my book. Thank you exhibiting the type of character that makes this community such a great one! :clapper:
Well here it come Snake. I thought it was funny, no big deal. On that note I said I would love to hunt with Fred some day, it would be my pleasure to hunt with you. I think your a real stand up guy have a good one, later Mike
Very good man right there!
Shakes
You're welcome at my campfire anytime.

Sure hope I get to meet you face to face some day Bill. You are what I wish all Americans were like.
I salute you Sir!
That took some courage right there Bill. Hats off to you. :campfire:
This is a special place for sure! Takes a good man to admit mistakes were made...sometimes us bowhunters get cabin fever and howl at the moon :)

Good on ya!

Mark Twain Quotes – "I have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened." Water under the bridge.
As the down under fellas say
"no worries mate."

Glad to hear it is settled. I have read a lot of your posts and always enjoyed them. It takes a big man to stand up and admit he is wrong. Welcome back to the fire.

It is all water under the bridge.

I appreciate your humbleness, Bill. It's good to see you back. I was kinda concerned that we wouldn't hear from you again. Glad it's over.
Way to man up. Good heart felt apology.
Doodoo happens, Forward we go.
I never saw the thread or posts. But good on you for making amends.
Sometimes real life has a way of interfering with our enjoyment of day to day happenings. No judgement here...time to press on. We all have our days.
Bill, I didn't even see the thread...that is not important. What is important is that we as a community of traditional archers support one another. It takes a big person to come forward and publicly acknowledge that they were wrong. I applaud you for that! Oh that we all could be so humble!! May God richly bless you and thanks again for your example.....
Good on you brother, we all have bad days.
NO biggie here..................
James
In my opinion, we all do and say things we should not. The true measure of a man is in how he reacts to things like this. It takes a strong man to eat crow, you are welcome at my table anytime.
Good on you brother. You have set an example for all, and in so doing ensured that the bar for conduct on this site remains high.
No forgiveness needed, we all have our days!!! Welcome back to the fire, I look forward to your posts again.
Takes a big man to apologize. Good on you.
AMEN
A heartfelt apology is always welcome and accepted. We all hit a rough patch of road. How we handle it speaks volumes of our character. I hope the times i step on my own tongue, i'm able to realize it or get called on it, and that I have the character you have displayed.
Water on a duck's back. Ee all have bad days, I think I have them the most.
I think you have about your fill of crow. It happens to most everyone, at some point in time. Over with and forgotten.
We all have bad days sometimes.

X2!
Shakes when I first became a member of tradgang you were one of the first to welcome me to the gang.
Glad all is settled :)
We all have bad days Bill, good on you brother.
I only vaguely remember the thread and it never rose above mildly curious to me, but then I come from a big Irish Catholic family where no family meal goes unriled...
Two things that are too easy: "taking forum posts too seriously" and hitting the "add reply" button.
One thing that is too hard: stepping up and facing the music for doing two too easy things.
No worries.
I missed the thread, but if you posted something that you need to apologize for it was certainly out of character for you Bill. I always enjoy your posts and your enthusiasm.
Good on you for manning-up.
Bill,great gesture!
Bill-you are humbly forgiven and this is 'water under the bridge'. Let's move on and continue the fun!! Thanks.
Kenny
Bill,
I still love ya! You, "Grumpy Old Neighbor"!!! I still haven't gotten up there to see you yet. It may be just what the Doctor ordered. Hope to see you soon and stay outta trouble you old coot!!! LOL! Give me a call sometime fella.
Bill, I think this only goes to show you are a good man.
Good job Bill. Strong character to apologize. You're a solid guy IMHO.
Well said friend! And since we all fall short from time to time, you will likely need to be forgiving some of us before too long. It is soooo easy to fall off the stump.
Have a good day and a better one tomorrow.
