Title: Nocking Point ?
Post by: Chain2 on February 22, 2012, 07:30:00 PM
I am shooting 3 under. I paper tuned my Hill with the nocking point 5/8" above, the hole was perfect. I noticed iregular flight tonight, shot it thru paper and it showed nock high. I checked the nock and it didn't move. Any ideas? Thanks Guys

Brace height and string the same. Release might be different, waiting for new glove. Might have had bow canted more, Wwould that do it? Thank you

I have seen this exact same behavior and it was a result of my form. For some reason I was not releasing cleanly. I noticed erratic flight, checked everything and then went back to the target and still saw the erratic flight. Walked up to within 5 feet of my backstop and shot for 10-15 minutes with my eyes closed focusing on nothing but my form. Then stepped back to 10 yards and did the same thing but with my eyes open. Thought flight looked better so I moved back to 20 and my arrow flight was back to normal. Now if I notice anything that looks odd I go back to the basics and usually it is me, not my bow.   :knothead:
