Post by: GabeGa on February 22, 2012, 07:21:00 PM
just found some New old stock KWIKEE SILENCERS -helicopters on fleabay , the cool part is that the seller sent me 1 extra set for free for some reason -one dude from PA Burgettstown , anyway im happy that finally i can set up the bow the Vintage way i wanted it

   kwikee silencers
   acme Kwikee kwiver
   Hoyt-Easton string
   bras nock- finger-savers
   bow-Ben_Pearson signature 7331 AMO''58 #55 takedown
   4 different new vintage broad-heads 125gr
   all vintage new old-stock    :archer:

i know i don't post much..,because-i mean everything about trad archery was dissected and super duper analyzed already here, that's why i signed up to learn and read the available info.
all 3 deer  i saw and got close to 10yds in the opened season where to skinny,(only took pics) , so i guess i will just post some pics of my vintAGED bow for some of you to enjoy
but i shoot a lot in my backyard    :archer2:

Thats cool, I have a k quiver. Have you shot the bow with it on? I wanted to use it on my sons bow, but it didnt look to stable when you got down to one arrow in it.

you have to install, then pull down towards the riser where the limbs are thicker...and the locking clamp needs to be firm...i have no issues, thanks

Nice rig you got there. Better get a hood on those broadheads. You can get one that clips to your arrow. Check out 3 Rivers. TD.

I agree wth Tim, very nice set up, but i would deffinately invest in the hood. I would enjoy much more reading your posts about great hunts, than a trip to the E.R .      :coffee:

Hey I still use one of those quivers for my stumpin setup on my Martin X-200. They work great and I love mine! They originally came with a pair of big thick rubber bands that slid down and butted up against the quiver and prevented it from sliding. If you want an original cover for the broadheads, (it clips on the back arrow) I'll send you one. Just cover the shipping. How do those silencers do? I like your setup!

Now you need some aluminum or fiberglass arrows from the 70's to match that bow and BH's. Otherwise looks good to me!! LMAO at all your BH covers!!(smart ***)  ;)  Good Luck hunting..Henry

LIMBSHAKER , the silencers work perfect(don't slide) when i shoot arrows with target points (will make a video soon in action) they have a whoop "sound" to them and you can feel the rubber absorb the vibration in the grip of the bow -a smooth feeling that i like-
-Yes on the vintage cover i would really like it will PM you,, much thanks    :notworthy:
