Title: arrow recomendations for a new bow??
Post by: MTArrowLauncher on February 22, 2012, 12:52:00 AM
Jim @Black Creek Bows is spraying my 62" 55@28 Siren T/D LB this week so i should have it next week i think. I am wondering if any of you have one or if anyone has a recomendation for arrow for this. I would like to get some to just start shooting, and when i can afford it later this spring or summer i can get a couple different to try (I think i am going to get woodies) but right now i can only get one set if possible so id like some input

thanks
Fin

70-75 Surewood shafts cut to 29in with 145 to 190 points should be in the ball park. Assuming you are drawing a full 28in.

If you go carbon the CE Heritage 150's should be right there..

I think the MFX or Heritage (heavy shaft) you will like more than the other carbons that will come in around 9.5 grains per lb. At least that is what I have learned (on a bow over 50lbs)

65-70 Fir or cedar with 135 -190 depending on how much you cut off when tuning.
