The woods are mascar embony and bocote Dont know what the wood is that looks like orange and bamboo core. Very smooth fast the grip fits like a glove really nice feel it is finished with thunderbird finish very smooth has gloss look but not to much.

They shoot as good as they look ..!

Nice looking bow.

I shot a few at RMSG last month. I really liked the grip and how his bows point. Performance was respectable as well - smooth and probably middle of the road on speed.
-
Very happy to get this bow. What a shooter Fred had made a heck of bow.

I've been looking at Freds Bow's for a while now, They look great and have a very unique design along with his leather grip. (Rocky Mountain specialty gear)is a sponsor here and carries a big line of the Flying Eagle Bows.
Scott, that is a beauty!!

Fred has some new bows he has came out with that RMSG dosnt have he has a new recurve coming out with this summer also this has been the finest shooting longbow I had my paws on yet.I hate to say it even my Massie I have total controll with this grip keep in mind my left arm is bad little grip or strenght left inmy arm with this grip bow dosnt roll around or changes at all and is held in place with little effort that means the world when I have about 40% arm strenght in my left arm shoulder left arm dosnt extend out all the way that is a battle for me and my bow shooting

I've held a few of his bows (@RMSG) and just love the overall feel of them in my hand. The leather grips are super nice...the wood is something to behold.
