Title: do different feather cuts shoot different

hey guys im new to this site and i hope i do this right. i was wanderin if the different feather cuts like banana and traditional etc, etc, shoot different from one another. do certain feathers do certain things?

Not much.  Different shapes may exhibit slight variances in noise, but if they have generally the same amount of area, their arrow guidance is about the same as well.

Only when your arrows are not tuned or are way out of spine.  A larger fletching will provide more control and help with correction of bad arrow flight quicker.  Other than that there is no real difference except noise and what you like the looks of.

The MAIN difference in fletch cuts is...style.  What you like.  Slight noise, maybe a tad more or less control, but a well tuned arrow will shoot fine with any style and surprisingly little totatl fletching.

It really is personal preference. I like parabolics as I think they are the quietest.
