Title: First Custom Bow in 15 Years (Stalker Recurve)

I'm sure if you did a search of the archives you'd find me rippin' "plywood" bows on numerous occasions.  But when it came down to ordering a new bow for Africa, for some reason I was drawn to the old actionwood.  Here is my new Surge from Stalker Recurves.  South was awesome to work with.  I may never order another bow from anyone else.  I have a custom Kanati quiver on order.  I'll post more pictures when it gets here.

South bulds a very nice bow w/ a very good grip.I love mine

I like the overlays! Really different from what South usually uses. You will love that bow! Congratulations!

Yep The Surge is one Classy looking bow. I have one and it's not going anywhere.

Burnise, I think the Static Tips are only available on the Hybrid riser right now. I have a set and they are sweet   :)

The bow is 60" long, 61# at 28".  I won't be shooting any dangerous game.  I really just had this psychological block for shooting anything less than 60# in Africa.  Maybe I just needed an excuse for a new bow.

Just recieved Stalker info with new Tradbow mag in mail yesterday. Looks like an awesome bowyer with some very nice bows.
