Title: Zipper Hunter series question
Post by: Nesbo1482 on February 12, 2012, 06:03:00 PM
Hello all, I had an opportunity to shoot a Zipper recurve and really liked the feel.  Has anyone shot the hunter series? How does it compare? I thought I might go the Hunter series route because I like the price tag a little better.

As I know it, it is like every other Zipper SXT with the classic limbs used a couple years ago, but believe you can also get newest carbon/foam limbs for it.

PM Bill and get the word straight from the source.

I have a Hunter S, and it's going with me this year for the pursuit of a thunder-chicken. The bow is made for the hunt. The Classic limbs have a real nice draw, very smooth. I had Bill build me a Hunter riser and I asked him add some antler to it. The bow looks real sharp. I nicknamed it my Ninja Zipper, smooth, quiet and up to the job. The only thing I would change is next time I'll ask him to add Snake skins to the limbs, diamondback.
