Does anyone have information on the new shooting glove by American Leathers, that was going to be introduced at Kalamazoo?
Happy, what can you remember about it? Maybe it is the "crossover" ??
Here is a copy of the thread.
John at American Leathers informed me today that he will be at KZoo with his Crossover glove for everyone to try out in person.....and also has a new item for all you cold weather hunters.....I'm not letting the cat out of the bag, but I'm gonna be placing an order real soon. You'll have to check it out at his booth...
Its on their web site.
I have checked there web site and not found any thing new.
I saw it and tried it on first-hand...very nice glove. One of those items I wish I would have purchased at the show. That seems to happen every year. :(

I purchased one and love it! I thought Big Jim had some available but checked his site and couldn't find any. May be worth a call to American Leathers or Big Jim.

I have never tried one with the nylon on the fingers like that. Does it take some getting used to? I like to be able to "feel" the string. Can you with this design?
It does take some getting use to but once you get it broke in...there is none better!
JMHO! Jason
I have two big shot gloves and love them. I shot the new crossover but didn't like the lack of feel with the plastic in the fingers. It definitely gave a smooth release and maybe with shooting it a bunch I'd get used to it, but I like being able to feel the string. All of their stuff is top notch, just a matter of preference on which glove works for you.
That is really not a new item if that is what you are talking about. I have had one for some time, they have been offered for quite a while on Big Jims site.

I agree. Hated them at first, now I won't shoot anything else. Love my Crossovers.
The new item is a cold weather glove....not on the website yet. Email John about it. I have one on order after testing it
That sounds like something I would be interested in (cold weather glove). Any details?
Mark,
I saw them yesterday at our Idaho Traditional Bowhunters Trad Day / Banquet. They are a thin fleece glove for both hands - a light sage green color. The drawing hand glove is half fingers so that you can wear your shooting glove over the top of the fleece glove with your fingers in the stalls. They had grip pad(?) on the bow glove palm, thinness won't interfere with your arrow at the shelf. Pretty nice, stretchy fit, gauntlet comes past the wrist 3 or 4" to fit up inside your sleeve. I will be buying a pair for next season or maybe sooner for the wet Spring weather. John and Lori only had a few pair on the table - $30 per pair. I need left hand so I will have to get mine ordered. Great folks with great products -> American Leathers!
I cant tell you about their glove since I shoot a tab however I just recently received a custom back quiver from american leathers. Nothing but quality. A great experience and John treated me right. He's good people.

Thanks for the information everyone, will have to order a pair.
I believe Big Jim had those custom made a few years ago and started selling them.....so I quess they decided to start producing them. I have a regular Big Shot and love it.
