How long you gonna be up this way, Im about 2hrs or so from there.
If you are in that area for a while, you will be close to some really good shoots! I'm sure the guys on here will keep you informed. Welcome to PA!

Let me guess, you're a gas driller?
A whole lot of Pennsylvanians have jobs because of the drilling, including me.
Visit J&M Traditions in Dornsife PA.
Nakohe - We are blessed here in North Central PA with some great traditional shoots within easy driving distance. You definitely need to come to the Pennsylvania Longbow Association shoot at Marsh Hill. It's about a half hour drive north of Williamsport June 8 - 10. Also, you will need to come to Sawmill and Denton Hill if you've never been before. There's also a few other smaller shoots like Shade Mountain and Standing Stone that are a lot of fun. Here's a couple links to check out and keep an eye on the Trad Events and Gatherings Form.

Welcome! I'm about 45 min. south of Williamsport. There are quite a few of us around. Denton Hill should REALLY not be missed.
Williamsport is but 45 minutes away from Bloomsburg too! Thumbs up on Denton Hill! Jon
If you don't bring a bow I'll bet there will be someone who will let you borrow one....if I was closer I would!
There is a lot of great public lands and trad events all over Pa. Denton is a must and being oilfield trash(same here)and what the shale is going to give up he should have fun for some time in the area. Dan
