Title: wood arrow finish ?

Anyone use the minwax wood finish in a spray can.it says it stains and seals.im new to wood building

Minwax oil base polyurethane works quite well as an arrow finish, but I don't know about the spray.  The regular stuff in the can or the wipe on both work well; stick with the gloss as it is a harder finish.  You want to keep the coats thin as a thin coat dries harder and will be much more resitant to target burn.  If you dip the finish, thin it about 3 or 4 to 1 with a good mineral spirits.  You can wipe it on straight from the can, just keep the coats thin and allow it to dry between coats - three should be enuf.  Have fun!
