And what a great guy!!!! My wife and daughter took a trip with me up to Fortuna on Friday. After an 11 hour road trip, we checked into our room and rested. Saturday morning we drove over to retrieve the Schleyer one-piece longbow I had ordered a few weeks prior. South Cox greeted us with a smile, handed me my new bow, and proceeded to show us around the Stalker Recurves shop. After the grand tour we talked "bows" for a while, and I was amazed at how well I was able to pay attention with the piece of artwork that was in my hands talking to me ( :archer2: ).
I just wanted to give a shout out for South and his craftsmanship. He is a very sharp and classy individual. One heck of a nice guy to boot. The bow is beautiful, it flings the arrows out there accurately, and in a hurry.
BTW, the stats for this bow are: 49#@28", Snakewood with Ebony riser, Ziricote on the back and Leopard wood on the belly.

Thats a beauty. I've been extremely happy with the bows I've bought from South. Like you said, a great guy to deal with. Thats a bow that will keep smiles on your face for years! Congratulations.
Beautiful bow sir! South does good work!
Good looking bow, I really like that riser! The lines, the woods, it look great!! Now that same riser with recurve limbs, in a 2 pc take down.... Me really interested!!
My goodness, that is a great looking bow!
very nice.
That bad boy is SHARP!! Come on South, make that into a recurve!!
South builds a nice one, for sure! I shot and hunted with "Hope" in December and really liked it.
Congrats on your new one.
