Title: eberlestock JP9 blue widow pack improvement
Post by: ozy clint on February 03, 2012, 09:37:00 PM
hey guys, i just bought an eberlestock blue widow pack from a sponsor on here. thanks for the outstanding deal whip..   :notworthy:

after i zipped in the zip in panel the 1st time i noticed that it left some big holes along the top and bottom edges. it flopped around heaps.

i jumped on the sewing machine and got to work.
i added some velcro to the body of the pack and the zip in panel. now it works like its all one piece of material. 100% better, IMO.

i have already emailed eberlestock with this idea. thought i'd share it here and see if any one else thinks the same about how their zip in panel works. i reckon it would make the spike duffels better too, not that i have one of those.
so simple, yet so much better!

Good idea...

A buddy of mine didn't like the way that pack sways from side to side and added a strap on each side from the lower corner of the bag to the belt [many other packs already have these] He says it makes a big difference
