I have been waiting for two weeks for it to warm up enough (from -20's) in Moose Pass, Alaska so that I could go out in the snow and show everyone that I am now officailly one of Mudd's Merry Men!
It is now officially warm, it was only single negative digits when I took this photo.
Cool steve
Not many people can't WAIT to get to PORTLAND for some nice weather...
What else is new up there in the north country???
:D
Nice hat Steve ! Gotta love that blue winter daylight (!?) Avalanches now too, just had to cancel driving to Anc tonight due to some avalanches blocking the road.
Steve, I think you should have requested the special Arctic Edition with fold-down ear flaps on the inside!
Cool!! Thanks Steve!!
God bless,Mudd

Welcome to the band of Mudd's Merry Men!

If it's snowing down there as bad as it is here in Wasilla, you better get a scarf for your ears.
30 degrees, blowing wet snow. Should rain soon.

Yeah, that rain is gonna make for a real fun drive. Snow has stopped here in eagle river, but taking the trash down the driveway was real fun.
Mudd's men get's a Moose pass resident! Lookin' forward to hearing you speak at the United Bowhunters of Illinois banquet. Safe travels :campfire:
I refused to take the pic when it was -22 to even -28! Even poor Mudd had to wait! The temp was -5 in the photo, doable if I did it quick!
24 hours now without power at home. We are running out of places to put plowed snow.
Nice hat Steve, you look good in it!Well it is -40 in North europe and -5 in N Italy.
Nice hat, but were you wearing the green tights too?
My wife and i were married in Anchorage in the summer of 84'. We were up there for a year prior and experienced minus 35 to -42 for a few weeks. i was working outside doing wood framing in that stuff too.
I remember how excited i got when the temp soared to 10 above in late February. I had to dig a hole in the snow to change a clutch in my van, and i was working in just a sweat shirt it felt so warm.
We had looked forward so much to flying back into Portland for some 50 degrees and rain for a couple weeks at Christmas. When we got here it was 19 degrees and the wind was blowing 30 mph. we had an ice storm that lasted the whole time we were home too. :bigsmyl:
Been following the winter you've been getting, now I see the evidence in the pic behind you, Oh nice hat...making Mudd proud.
Mudd you're going to have to design one of those with ear flaps!!!
Lookin good Steve O Mudds Merry Men :)
