I just got done building a couple of possible bags for you guys who like man purses. It gave me a chance to run my new stitching machine ( sewing machines are for girls LOL) and kind of lay out some patterns. I dont know if I will build these things or not. But tell me what you think. They are not fancy just a bag with a snap down lid. They are out of some nice chap leather. So tell me what you think. They will be listed in the sponsor classifieds.

This bag is 12"w x 81/2"h x 4"d. Should hold a lot of make up! The leather is around 9oz.

This is a little smaller for you girls that dont carry as much. It is 10"W x 81/2"h x 4" deep. It is a little lighter leather around a 6 oz. it is a marbeled leather with a round bottom.
Let me know what you guys think. I was just kidding with the girl talk. :goldtooth:
Very nice work, Rue Paul would wear one if it shot trad. And so would I
Got a chance to see your stuff at Kalamazoo. Man you do nice work!
I'm not a man purse guy so no comment there. But dang I really like that wood bench ya got. Reminds me of my wood flooring : )
Thanks Ed
BEAUTIFUL!!Nice work.
MAY THE SPIRIT OF FRED BEAR GUIDE OUR ARROWS.
Jack Bauer will have one soon!
They look good.
Scott, those are nice ! I bought one of your armguards from Chad at K-Zoo.... awesome craftsmanship ! Have you ever built a back quiver with basketweave tooled leather ?
Building these bags is preparing me for back quivers.
I think those look pretty sharp! Not sure if I want another strap on my back yet, but if I went that route I would consider one like yours!
Scott,
I think that is very nice work for them to be maid by a Girl.... :bigsmyl:  Just Kidding!
They look great
I'd take that top bag in a heart beat and wear it with pride! Possibles bags were worn long before a purse was.
Scott,
I forgot to ask, are they both made out of the same leather?
No there diffrent one is brown and one is not :knothead: :biglaugh: .
The top bag is a liitle heavier leather than the bottom. The bottom bag is a light tan with marbeling in the color.
I like he size of the top one. A divider in the center to make two sides would be great, just from an organizational standpoint. I hate when all my lipsticks get buried in the bottom :saywhat:
QuoteOk Girls I just built some possible bags!
I like your sense of humor..nice work as usual.
Scott,
Those are nice but make sure to give the men directions on how to wear them...If they go over the neck and around the shoulder to the side then it's a haversack...If you men decide to wear it on the center of your arm with it in the crease then you need to get out of the woods and it's then a Manpurse and you are banned from hunting with Traditional equipment for life! And pink is not an option :readit: :knothead:
This fun I am glad no one is getting there panties all bunched up!
Scott,
I bet I wore Chad out last weekend at Kzoo. Pictures don't do your work justice. Incredible quality. I am going to have one of those armguards! Waiting to see what you bring to PBS and buy it from you. Love the snakeskin pattern.
Steve,
I agree, that Snakeskin is my favorite. Scott is a true artist with leather

Thanks guys. I am just growing in leaps and bounds. I am having so much fun. So far no complaints so that tells me every one is happy. If they were not happy I would take care of them.
Scott,
I am color blind so I could not see that one was brown and the other one was not.
But I like the looks of the leather on the small one the best.
I like the bottom one and it would work perfect for ML hunting also.
You can put it in with my tab order and i will giveyou full review on it. :)

Still looking forward to those back quivers.
I think I get choose who models and seeing Biggie in the water with a deer and no pants no thank you. No offense Biggie. But I just dont think he will do much for sales.
Nice, Can be used as a sporran for those inclined. Scott, sell them in pairs to be used as loin cloths.
Stitching machine in the the hands of talent turns out those beauties. Color me jealous as I am just toying with leather and have no talent
GREAT LOOKING stuff.
I think you should add a feature on the outside of the bigger one to allow you to carry a 32 oz water bottle.
Nalajr
I have found that people dont know these are for sale in the sponsor classifieds.
Scott,
You also have them for a very reasonable price...If I didn't already just get my new Asbell haversack back in Dec. I would of been jumping on one of yours...They look awesome and great job...
Nice looking work as always Scott, but those straps HAVE to be fastened on the back and not the sides, or they WILL look like purses!
I all ready have to carry my ole ladies purse in the store. I would just look plan silly carrying two.
:D

I'd like to see one like that from Scott. That'll allow the straps to stay closer to the body too while hunting or stumping.
