Anybody have one? Give some info on what you think about them and pics if you have them.
Thanks Tom
Nobody???????????????
Tom, I don't have the one piece but I wouln't worry about buying anything from Dan Toelke, if for some reason you don't like it I think he would insist you send it back so he could make you happy. He might let you try one if you call and ask him.
I had a Chinook and loved it. Trouble is I am maried to my Whips so I sold it to another fella that had an eye for a good looking well mannered blonde..uh I mean bow. :D
Thanks guys, I have a Whip I just bought from Dan and love it. But I keep eyeballing those 1 piece recurves, just wanting some feed back before I pulled the trigger on one.
Tom
Dan called me tonight he was bare-shafting my New 1pcs 52"er..It will have a Whip riser, made from micarta and tappered recurve limbs, his first, all Black with sheephorn tips,he said it will drill..should have it next week..will post some pics...
I had a 52". It was a cool little bow. I sold it and sometimes wish I hadn't. Unfortunately, I just didn't shoot it as well as my 64" whips. Everything Dan makes is great.
i have a 58"er and she is a shooter, smooth drawing and quiet, the grip fits like a whip so you can go between the two no problem,go ahead get one !
That is the length I was thinking about was something in the 58" to 60" range. Like I said I really like my 64" Whip.
I have a 60" Chinook. Been shooting it a fair amount lately getting ready for Pig Gig. It's amazing. The only sound is the feathers going across the rest. And no hand shock. I really like this little bow.
Ive shot several Chinook and Chinook "classics". Quietest recurve ive shot, more so than many r/d longbows.
I have been kicking around the idea of a Lynx, but just can't pull the rigger yet. I do like my Whip from Dan...smooth and quiet. Dan is also one heck of a nice guy too!
I agree, Dan is a super guy and he does make a beautiful bow.
I had one of of Dans 3 piece recurves, one of the fastest bows I've owned. If it wasn't for it being to heavy I would still own it.The workmanship was flawless.would love to get another.
