New guy here, just joined, brand new to trad archery, although I spent quite a few years using the "other kind" of bow. Decided it was time to take off the training wheels! I am Canadian, a machinist by trade, amateur knifemaker (stressing the word amateur), hunter, outdoorsman, and also love things that go bang! Hope to get lots of good info/discussion here as I journey into the art of traditional archery!

Welcome, tell us about your bow and arras combo, what do you hunt and things like that
I don't have a bow as of yet, but I have a Chek Mate Beaver Creek long bow on order. It is made by a bowyer in British Columbia, Canada. It is 58" long, and will have between 50 and 55 Lbs. pull (not sure exactly, as it isn't finished yet). Everything else broadheads, quiver and the rest is up in the air! Looking forward to doing the research here! Arrows will probably be the ones I shot with my wheels. 30.5" Gold Tip Hunters, 55/75. Looking at a Safari Tuff Arrowmaster quiver, or Duiker, which ever one I can attach to my backpack.
Welcome aboard ! Maxx
Welcom. Is chek mate back in business? That's great if it is. Mike.
