Got a 4 year old and showing intreast in bows,who builds a reasonable bow that won't brake the bank,that is made in the US of A....

Ditto all those mentioned here.  And give George at Tollgate Archery Supply (also a sponser) a call.  They had some fine looking youth bows on display at a Trad shoot last year.  He may still have them and the prices were right.

If your lookin for a recurve...Scott Mitchell of Timberhawk bows makes a sweet little recurve. Sweet litlle shooters too!

Maddog all the way. My son loves his pup longbow. And for a small bow it smokes an arrow.

Duane Jessop builds one called a Whippersnapper that is hands down the nicest kids bow I've ever seen.

My boy is R/H. I'm going to look at st Joe bows at the spring fling next month. But leaning towards the Maddog because of the short length. He Will be 5 in June

Believe it or not, Dave Windauer from Schafer bows builds a really nice kids longbow for 200 bucks.

I just bought my 4 YO nephew one for his birthday.  Thank god for Redneck Uncles
