Title: Team Pink.....And Thanks to a Member!
Post by: Wannabe1 on January 30, 2012, 02:35:00 PM
Thanks to Matt (Overspinded) I am now a member of Team Pink. I did a little trade with Matt and he sent these to me. They arrived safe and sound this morning and I will be getting them tuned to shoot out of my Browning Explorer II. Going to tip them with 160gr Ace broad heads.

Those are easy to find, and see where you hit!  When the leaves turn red and gold, no other color stands out like pink!

I hope one of them finds it's mark!

Welcome to team pink, brother! I am a member also in good standing.

I have pink wraps, pink feathers, and even a pink and black Girlie Man string!      "[dntthnk]"

Thanks Doug. I shot one this evening trying to tune it to the bow and it is amazing how much more visible they are compared to my other shafts. Might be looking to some more pink arrows in my future.

My dad started using pink and I had to start using them myself, i couldn't believe how easy they were to find in the woods and to see where you hit. Some of them I stain the shaft darker, and others I leave bare and just seal them up after I straighten them.  It kind of just depends what I am after and where I will be sitting or stalking...

And now I will be fletching up some Lefty wing too!

Well, I will say this much Matt, you sure do a fine straightening job. These shafts are all extremely straight when I rolled them across my work bench! Thanks again!

I went stumpin a couple of weeks ago with a friend who was using pink fletching for the first time. I was really impressed with the way you could see them and find them in the woods,I had thought that white was good but know now that the pink is better. Can I join?

It's funny, you would think white would be good, but a lot of shine shows white in the field. Leaves, sticks, etc. I  have even found blaze orange is not as easy to see as hot pink fletch.

This club is open to all!
