I have bought another 73-75 Grayling Green Kodiak Hunter. This one is 50# @ 28 in. These are IMHO the best bargains out there in a quality vintage Bear recurve. I have bought three 45#s and now this 50# in the past year and all in the $150 range.
Seems everyone pays attention to the K's and S.K.'s. Bear made other great shooting bows. You have several of them.
I have a 67 Grayling Green Kodiak Hunter 48# - though not the smoothest draw or at shot, they are good, accurate shooters and hard to beat for the money. Mine is rigged up for bowfishing.

I have a 73 green kodiak hunter I purchase in 1973, it was my first "real hunting" bow. It still shoots good.
Kodiak Hunter was my first trad bow. That was some time ago but it does bring back some fond memories.

69 Kodiak Hunter (the year I graduated from High school) shoots great!
I have a 67 K-Hunter 43# @ 28" great bow, Had 2 K-Hunters from the mid 70's a 45# and a 55# .....should have kept them. Just good solid hunting bows!!
I'm waiting on mine I got off the classifieds, can't wait to shoot it! I even bought a quiver for it off the classifieds too. Hope she likes me!
I hear ya Damon. UPS says my latest little dumpling is due Friday.
Lol I wish Missouri would let us shoot catfish.
I just came in from bare shafting a 77 Kodiak Hunter. I'm finding a great appreciation for them. This one will get to kill some carp and maybe a few groundhogs before deer season this fall. Excellent bows!
