Title: Traditional DVD
Post by: mongoose on January 29, 2012, 02:42:00 PM
I recently purchased a really good dvd an found that it will only play in my computer and not in my dvd player(thru tv). When I try to play in normally, it won't "load up" in the regular DVD player. Any suggestions, I don't want to try and send it back  :banghead:    :campfire:

Phone the company you bought it from, tell them about the problem, and if a good company they will send you a new one.  I had simular problems with ones that dont play or are really scratched when they arrive and wont play on certain machines.  For me I bought mine through Three Rivers and they sent a replacement ASAPwhen I called.  Your problem might be formating, bad burn at the production company, scratches, etc. one machine may be better at reading a format or scrached DVD than another.
