Now that deer season is ending what do you guys hunt next?
After rabbit's and tree rats then "STUMPS"!
Hogs...year round. Oftentimes a deer hunt turns into a hog hunt! :)
Stumps for now, Texas hogs and turkeys in April, then Wyoming turkeys in late April/May.
Hogs are on the list for now. Come March it will be turkeys.
Hogs until Sept when deer season comes back around.
Foam deer.
My next bow...
Sheds, turkeys and hopefully a montana bear hunt.
Deals on the classifieds.......
Anything I can legally pick a spot on.. Leaf, stick, coyote, and targets. Mostly I spend alot of time this time of year refining my ever evolving arrow selection and flight, and working on my form.
Did I mention crafting my moose arrows and airline bow case for next september
:-O
For me; small feral pigs, frogs, bag targets and then go roving for any non animal that tickles my fancy. :D
Hogs, squirrels, stumps, leaves, twigs, and the occasional moss covered rock that looks like something else at 20 yards! :banghead:

Gotta take down some stands. I'll put out my 3-D range in the woods by March 1st.
I'll hunt turkeys but I'll miss the first 14 days of the season this year as I visit my 3rd grandson after his birth in April.
Rabbits and stumps til turkey season comes in.
Foam and stumps til turkey.
ground griz.
Bunnies and stumps...til turkey in April!
Coyotes, then turkeys, carp, and stumps.

Snowshoe hare are on until June up here. Not many around lately, though.
I've been thinking of trying my hand at Coyote this winter...as long as they're not too wily!

Right now I am doing the yodel-dog thing, might have to chase the bunnies around a time or two, then long beards start in mid March.
With new ground to explore, it is more interesting for sure.
I will hunt rabbits for another month, then coyotes, groundhogs, and red squirrels go year round.

none up here, don't expect any too soon, either. which in the long run is a very good thing. much as i love hunting them, they are a national epidemic and no plan to at least stop their increasing numbers.
My wife says I hunt for new bows! This is the time of year I get the itch to Buy something new. That never ending endeavor to find " the perfect bow". :bigsmyl:

the skwewy wabbit!
I may hunt squirrel, it's in till Feb. 15th. But my main interest now is spring gobblers and looking for sheds and just roaming the woods. If I killed anything worth mounting I do my taxidermy work at this time. However, I'm not going to mount anything this yr. I did kill an 8pt. that was worthy to me, but I had to cut the head off real short in the neck to lighten my load packing the meat out. I may buy a cape and mount it later.
stumps for me also
Rabbits!
I still have the trap line to keep me busy. Small game and stumps will fit the bill till late Feb.
hogs! Lots and lots of hogs!!!
Well i got back a couple of weeksago from my annual florida hog hunt so foam until May when turkey season starts.
Hogs in Jan & Feb....
Red Stag in Australia in March......
Turkeys in April........
Hogs in May, June, July, & August......
Elk in CO in Sept........
What do you know, it is October and deer season again!!!!!!
