On the main page there are archives of some of the archery legends, and on the How To forum (main page)you can find tons of arrow and other archery making tips and videos.

If you can only own one book that will give you enough information on the "How to's" of building bows and arrows I recommend Volume 1 of the Traditional Bowyers Bible.

God bless,Mudd

Not really a survival guide but something to do with archery and being in the wild.   Mike

Read the Traditional Bowyers Bible.  You can get an idea on how to go about building a simple bow and arrows.
Can't be that hard, I built one.  And the Ancients built them with primitive tools.  They weren't a thing of beauty, but a good tool.
As Mudd said Vol. 1, if you can only have one book.  Get the rest, if you can.  Best how-to for the money.
As Ipcjon2 stated look in the how to section.  Lots of info there.
If ya'll lived closer, I'd be glad to help out.

Then its the tent and all the gear that goes with it.I would like for you guys to get me a list started of what you would bring on this 4 or 5 day trip. Gonna do it at turkey season so that will help. This is something I would really like to do so please help me out. Jag I wished I lived a little closer to so I could get some more answers for my ?'s thanks Mike

A first aid kit is always handy to have along on any trip, regardless of its length.

Make sure you tell someone the dates and time that you  are leaving along with an entry point and exit point(preferably on a map)have some form of sat radio for emergency. And do take food,a
one or two day trip would be smarter to work out the kinks before you get in over your head.

As my Dad says use your head for more than a hat rack, think smart and safe!
