Here is my first attempt at some wood arrows. I made these up for my sister who is just getting started with trad. I gotta thank Stiks-n-strings for letting me use all his arrow building stuff and answering a bunch of dumb questions. (http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee391/rjwalton8/firstarrows.png)

Same here, they caught my eye pretty quick, even admiring the rest of the craftsmanship. What burner/feather shape are you using?

Dang, Nice job brother!
Very nice!
Stiks will have to chime in on the feather shape. I just used the one he had on the burner. Will call him later and see.
The pic makes them look metallic. The purple is dye.
Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Rob
Great looking arrows Rob!
You've done some nice work.
That feather shape is just a partial banana cut, I shaped the front of the ribbon like a banana cut and didn't bring the back down as far. It leaves the natural angle of the feather on the back.
I think it's my favorite cut. I use it on most of my feathers.
Looking good!
Nice job.
I may have to copy them. nice work.
the house will come back to smelling like farts in no time.
Great looking shafts! Congrats on a fine job. :clapper:
