That's what my 3 1/2 year old son said when I walked in the door tonight. "Look at my new quiver!"... "Are you ready to go?"... "I've got my huntin clothes on."... "Let's go Daddy!" While my son continued to jabber my wife informed me that she had made our son a new quiver so he could go deer hunting with Daddy. So that's what we did. I got out the little recurve I had made for our oldest and set him up with some arrows. He put on his arm guard and we were almost ready. Just one final touch... the leaves to camoflauge his hat. Now it was time to head into the woods.

We went down and setup in a good spot to watch for, well anything. And wouldn't you know some birds showed up. After a few really close calls we decided to head back home to tell our "huntin" story to Mommy. All in all it was a great day.

I think I might have to look into some lil bows pretty soon. They do pretty good at taking turns but it'd be nice for all of us to go out together.

Yup, those boots have been through alot. We even had to patch them up with some duct tape! I'll definitely tuck these memories away someplace safe cause they're the ones that REALLY make hunting fun. Thanks for sharing it with us.
