For you fellas shooting a gamemaster or dorado will you post a pic of your rest. I`m assuming to shoot off the shelf you have to shim the sideplate over a bit and raise the shelf?
Looks like the Buff is already setup for shelf shooting? Pics or explanations please. Thanks,RC
furniture pads. The ones that go on the legs. They work great and are self adhesive,

I use those on my Titan, they stick good and are bullet proof. I get mine at Wally world.
I, too, use the felt pads but I had to place a small piece of rawhide shoelace under the sideplate to get correct center shot. Sorry, I don't have any pics.
I use felt pads aswell, i cut them in half and use one thickness on the shelf but double on the side plate to tune my setup, the dorado and GM are cut way past center. The original rest supplied by Hoyt didn't work for me, I really like the velt as its so cheap and works great.
I made a plate to build out the side plate on my Dorado and Gamemaster 1/4in. then used velcro over that and they shoot fine. The Buffalo is cut to just pad the riser and it shoots great.
So 1/4in is what you need to bring the side plate out to before padding for proper centershot.
RC shooting a metal T/D bow, what's the world coming to? Guess ILF will be next!! LOL
JK, you really need to shoot my Buffalo, it is an amazing bow. If you get a Dorado or Gamemaster, change out the limbs and with some better ILF limbs and just replace the ILF fitting with the bushings that came off the original limbs and you will like it so much better. Stock limbs suck!
I have some 50# Black Max limbs you can try if you want to, they pulled 51# on my Dorado riser.
Can you adjust the tiller on a Buffalo?
Say it ain't so Robert! :)
RC, yes you can adjust the tiller by screwing out the upper limb bolt on the Buffalo. Once set you lock the bolts and it doesn't need adjusting again.
The Buffalo has a double radiused shelf and I've been shooting the supplied strike plate and rug rest. Shoots great as is and is one tough bow. I may have a picture of the rest area for you.
