John at American Leathers informed me today that he will be at KZoo with his Crossover glove for everyone to try out in person.....and also has a new item for all you cold weather hunters.....I'm not letting the cat out of the bag, but I'm gonna be placing an order real soon. You'll have to check it out at his booth... ;)
Nate , Ya'll have to take pics for me ... going by his glove he builds a great product . keen to see what he has thats new and for us cold weather hunters
oops / double post trying to edit spelling . apols
double post
Nate, do you have any pics of that Crossover glove to post or do I have to wait until I get to KaZoo?
Look at Big Jims site. He sells the crossover.
Thanks Philip!
you can see the crossover at americanleathers.com
the other stuff is coming on the website soon. He's taking orders at Kzoo.
John is a great guy to deal with. The crossover is one well built glove, just like all of the American leathers products. You get a mighty clean release with it.
I never liked the nylon overlays on these gloves, that's why I sold mine. But it will be interesting to talk to him and show him the gloves I build myself now. I have it for 6 years now and it is still going strong. Thansk for the info that he'll be at KZoo.
What about the new quivers Nate, are they ready now? I have been out of that loop for abit.
Thanks
CTT
John is building quivers now...the tried and true Hill style off the same pattern that the Schulz's and myself use.
The new retroHill type quiver is coming soon
Can't wait to see the new stuff. I am ecstatic with my glove with my only complaint being that NY gets cold at times and it doesn't fit well in my mitten. :)
My glove was the first thing packed for the trip to K-Zoo. Can't imagine shooting without it.
I love my new Crossover.
A real authentic Hill style quiver and I should be set.
Are you heading out for Kazoo also Nate?
God bless,Mudd
I am trying to imagine the difference between the "authentic" Hill Style quiver and the "retroHill"
This is all interesting and a whole lot of fun!
