SOOO, I traded my Cari-Bow Silver Fox for this one. it is with Dave right now being refinished, although it does not look like it needed it.

Then this one was offered to me and I just could not pass it up. It is a special edition that Dave did a few years ago, this is the Cape Buffalo Edition. Looks new and is a beauty.

Dude are your kidding me?!?!?! I want that #9 bow!! Sell me those copperhead limbs! I want that cape buffalo bow!! Oh hell what do you want for the whole collection??? Seriously you are a lucky man and I love your collection. I have owned 5 Silver Tips and loved them all, you have some of the nicest that I have seen. Seriously do want your love potion #9 bow.....great name too.
Beautiful bows! Just one tip would make my day.
Steve,
Sorry, none of them are going anywhere anytime soon.LOL
The one with two sets of limbs, if I remember correctly, the prarie rattler ones make a 58" bow and the water moc ones make a 60" bow I think both sets are 55#@28" and FF, do not have the bow yet so cannot verify the poundage for sure, but that should be close.
The special edition is a 60" and 58#@28" all striped ebony and FF.
Warchild, "Love Potion #9" will never be for sale, it will probably be buried with me,LOL.
Believe me....never say NEVER!!! Good plan though.
Nice bows Danny. I believe Dave started offering that Cape Buffalo Edition in 1999 or 2000. I wanted one bad but had just graduated college and the price tag was just too much for me. If I remember right he was only offering like 20 of those. It also came with a bronze statue of a cape buffalo that Dave sculpted.
Yes, you have.
But you can redeem yourself by sending one of those bows to me.

The first one is sweet!!!
Those are sweet bows you have.Really like the fact you hunt with your really high end bows.
Do not know about the bronze statue Matt, but it has bronze antler burrs with cape buffalos on them.
Danny,
They were made to shoot and hunt with, gotta use them for what they were ment to do IMHO.
Wow, that #9 bow is amazing. So are most your other bows I have seen on here. Looks like they get good usage too.

:scared: BEAUTIFUL BOWS! The only thing that beats a Silvertip is 3 decked out Silvertips! Congrats! :campfire:
This what trad archery is all about beautiful bows excellent craftsmanship and performance put me on the list for this one as well
DANNY!!! :notworthy: :notworthy:
STUNNING, simply STUNNING!
Those are beauties.
Danny-those are some fine bows and it really stirs something inside me! This is the beauty of 'traditional archery'! You are blessed for sure. Thank you sir.
Kenny :bigsmyl:
Congrats, that is a great set of Bows!!!
Great bows, very beautiful and functional.
Danny you have seriously good taste in bows. Having something that looks this good and performs as only a tip can is what traditional archery is all about.
Dave
Nice, you did good!
I agree that they are made to shoot and hunt with, but I don't know if I could take such a beautiful bow out where it would get scratched dinged etc. Man those are beauties!
That Cape Buffalo Edition is absolutely Beautiful. If #9 was at Denton Hill last July, I looked at it. The grip was a tad bigger than I like. I like a smaller grip like the one with 2 sets of limbs.
Use them like they are supposed to be used. I could never understand why people don't use beautiful bows. I use mine and have no scratches or dings on them. What, do people walk thru the woods hitting their bows against rocks and stuff?? It's a mystery to me:)
Awesome pics Danny. I will try to get an update from Beth tomorrow.
If that's bad I don't want to be good Danny! Fine set of bows right there!
Wow!wow!wow!what a nice collection!
Congrats Danny, I held the #9 bow at Denon Hill last year. Put it down 'cause i didnt want to put a dent in her. The Tip from PA is nice too!
Danny, those Silver Tips are beauty's!! One day I will have one!
Good Job Danny,Its like that song"I aint her for a long time,Im here for a good time"Super nice bows, and you deserve them. Now then, what are you gonna do with all them hides?
Great looking bows, love the LP#9., but they are all winners.
Thanks for all of the compliments everyone. I am stoked and cannot wait until my two new beauties get here so I can shoot them. Got some pigs that need taken care of also,LOL.
You are very blessed, i've been looking for the cape buffalo edition for years. Beautiful tips !!!
So thats where #9 'th went :archer:
Well... It's in good hands! :)
Danny, the one with 2 sets of limbs what riser wood is that one? I am yearning something fierce for a recurve and one is a Schafer. BEAUTIFUL bows. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Danny, I'm starting to think you actually believe in the 'ol saying "He who dies with the most toys wins!!" LOL!!
Man...that ain't right!! If only money would allow, I would have a half dozen..or so.
Beautiful bows as always Danny!
