the story....
well i started off waking up early around 5am. i grabben my trusty stick and string and headed out the door.i left with the intentions of hunting in my tree stand but once i got there i changed my mind. so i went down into a hollow to a pinch point on a creek where these seemed to be a ton of deer traffic. so i found a spot behind a fallen tree and got comfortable to wait. it wasnt more then an hour after i sat down that i hear some crunching of snow and ice coming from my right. so i grabed my recurve double checked to make sure my nock was on the string and waited.soon enough this loner came along. at about 25 yards it stoped giving me a broadside shot. so i draw anchor and release.... BOOM nailed her! double lung hit. she made it about 15 yards and i wached her fall in sight. my arrow found its mark and my broadhead did its job. that was the easy part. the hard part was getting it out of the creek bed and to the road. so needless to say but i am still extremely pumped about it. my first of many kills to come. im recurve all the way from now on.
so thanks again for all who helped me in my journey.
steven
