What would be the best string for a Grizzly? Who are some good sponsors to buy from?
B50 dacron.
3 tree strings... great service and strings
Josh, (AKA) Oliverstacy makes some good lookin strings and he's a sponser here. Might give him a try. I'm sure he would know what you would need.

Josh and Chad (LBR) are both string makers who could fix you up. It should be a B50 string for all three of your bows. I haven't made one for my Black Bear for a while, but I think I usually use 12 strands of B50. Either of those guys will be able to head you in the right direction though.
For 45@28, I'd go with 12 strands of dacron (B-55, B-500, or B-50). Endless or flemish is your choice--they both have their benefits.

I use a B55 on my 71. I think you will like that bow. It shoots great!
Any of the sponsors here you cannot go wrong.
I contacted Josh, he said he'll fix me up. Thanks guys!
Wes can I hop on with a related question,,,,
how about a 52# 1953 Kodiak --> looking for silence over performance and it has to be safe for my bow..
Contact Josh an see what he has to say. He was quick to respond and asked me several questions to insure proper fit. Great communication.
I'd pick B-55 over B-50. Just a little less stretch which means a quicker shooting in time.
I went with a 12 strand d55 Flemish twist. Can't wait to shoot my new grizzly
71 and 72 Grizzlys are built to get the job done!
Enjoy!
I have a '72 Grizzly with B50 string, shoots really nice.
