Post by: David K on January 19, 2012, 01:20:00 PM
as the subject says im new to trad shooting, got my first trad bow at christmas after shootin a compound for 6 years, and i have to say thanks to this site for getting me motivated to do it through my hours of lurking and soaking up every morsel of knowledge my brain can fit! anyways im excited to be a new member and look forward to improving my skills and finally getting in the woods with a longbow.

Welcome! Don't wait for your skills, just get out there and let the wood fly!  Rabbits and stumps are great teachers.

Welcome David. There is bow club in Keezletown I am a member of and we have 3d shoots starting once a month in March that are open to the public. If you are interested in shooting one with me let me know. I'm just a bumbling old man who enjoys company with other like minded folks.

Congrats!!!

Only been shooting a year myself. Love this stuff.

More time in the woods shooting rabbits, squirrels, stumps and etc the better for you IMO. It's just more fun!
