got one coming to me 52@28 56 inchs. Its got a sbd string, tiger myrtle venners and zicote riser.
i have a 28" draw ,just wondering what arrows yall shooting with these specs.
Gold tips 55/75 with about 200gr up front.
full length ,thats what i was thinking
Mine are cut 29 1/2 and fly clean and straight.I also shoot 65/70 tapered woodies 29 1/2 BOP and 150gr heads.
CE 150's should work just fine. I have a 49#@28 TC and it shoots 150's and 250's just fine. I think they are cut at 30" ... I shoot about a 170 grn Simmons Bhead and 145 grn field points.
You will like this bow ... congrats
well got it today in the mail, waiting for camera to charge for pics, bow is smooth, rock solid ,and just dang awsome.
A BOW THIS SHORT SHOULDNT SHOOT THIS SMOOTH!!!

Wow, you have a Looker there!!! I have always wanted to shoot a TC.
Pretty, would like to shoot one someday. I like short longbows.
i shoot 35/55 29" with 250 up front..fly alot better than 55/75 for me..
I'm glad to see it arrived ! I shot mfxs with 150 up front. Enjoy!
Great looking bow!!!!!! Looking at the pictures of it strung up I was just wondering what you have the brace height set up at. Thanks John
Man, you gotta love those wood choices. The braced profile looks sweet!
just a tad before 8" ,still playing with it.
Very nice.
Sweet TC !!!
Jim's Thunderchild has a great profile!!
You're kind of a tweener and it depends on how heavy or light you want to shoot? A full length 55/75 with a good load up front or 35/55's cut shorter with less up front. I think you could get both to fly well out of your TC... You could tune an arrow to be 8 1/2 gpp to 13+ gpp by adjusting tip weight and length. Shooting style also changes the equation. I shoot with almost all my bows a weaker than recommended spine? Go figure but that is what works "for me" .... Get some and let some bare shafts fly ... my 2cents
Congrats and good luck :)
Very nice!!
