Title: Brain Freeze
Post by: stine64 on January 16, 2012, 05:06:00 PM
12 degrees out this morning before I headed 50 miles north to Belvidere NJ.  Had some deer feeding all morning.  Great time of the year for clearing shooting lanes.  Everything is frose and brittle...lol  It just breaks off in your hands.

I went out in the woods today to see if there were any deer sign since deer season ended two weeks ago.

Not much sign, but the temperature today reached 76 degrees.

32 degrees this morning. Snowed last night. We got around 2". The type of day you dream about during hunting season. The plan is to go out, look for sign and put a hurtin on some stumps.

Maybe take a few photos.

Got out of the truck at 5 am Saturday to unload my bike and ride in to my hog hunting area and it was 18 degrees. Big deal you say, im in central California, i thought i was going to freeze solid before i got my bike unloaded WOW im not used to this. Took about a 20 minuet ride in, parked next to a tree to wait for sun up, went to a drink from my water bladder in my pack and the tube was frozen solid from the ride in. I had to wait until about 8:33 it get a drink
