I had to keep saying that to myself when I got my new Black Widow catalog yesterday in the mail..... :help: ; why do I always get tempted when they send me one of these? those bows are so beautiful.
"Why, why, why, why me? can ya'll help please........ :biglaugh:
Just pony up the 1k and you will be cured. :goldtooth:
The only cure I know of for this kind of problem is guilt. And lots of it.
Pick out the one you like and buy it. You'll hate yourself for it but you'll feel much better knowing that the gnawing, reeling, sickening desire is gone and is replaced by good old manageable debt.

Send the deposit, shoot the bow of your choice, send it back. It will help for a "little" while.
I have an urge for a 2-piece PSR
A PAX in all tulip wood........MMmmmmmm, MMmmmmmmmm!
Funny how they send their catalog full of temptation just in time for your tax refund. :)

That's affectionately known as "Marketing Technique & Timing". :saywhat:
So many bows, So little time. Makes me want to buy one of each. I need to hit the lottery.
Just had a thought and this might help you ...What if you use the bow as a means to feed your family...Could you then use it as a Tax write off? Now you have good reason to go and order yourself/ I meant family one...
'I don't trust the economy or the path that the power brokers are taking us down.' That is my wife's reason why I cannot have a new Miller cc/cv longbow or a new Berry or a new Robertson or a new Northern Mist. She is almost always right about these things. I taught her way too much about economy and financing, and sure, we got everything paid off except for her brand new Subaru Outback, but treating me like the obsessive child that I am is just not fair. Talk to either my wife or your wife about it, I bet you get a hundred reasons to resist. Just tell yourself, 'it's just ink on paper and pictures of pretty wood'.
Lawrence,
If the economy keeps going the direction its heading then that's a great reason to buy another bow...It's a survival weapon and you will need it to put food on the table for the family cause they are trying to bann all those weapons that use powder and lead...It's an investment and you don't have to register it....Yet...
I got that in the mail also. I am going to be disiplined, this time.
Think that hard, they send me three catalogs!
I got mine too,i said i was done buying but that new kb in in rosewood is nice.My wife would probley leave me if i got it.(man i'll miss her)
No resisting for me, halfway to saving up for a PMA in kingwood from my newspaper route :goldtooth: March can't come fast enough!
Yep, Kudos to the BW guys, that catalog is well done.
And many of those accessories on the back few pages are reasonably priced.
I think I am safe, they didn't send me a catalog! :bigsmyl:
If the BW recurve is too much money, then you might want to look at the Rainy Day recurve which is similar in design as the BW recurve and a lot less expensive.
