I'm trying to make up my mind on wood choices for my new Trails End. I did a search and found a few, just seeing if there were any out there I haven't seen. I'm thinking about striped ebony and coco bolo.
Thanks Travis
Travis that would be a great combo, striped ebony and blood wood is also fantastic looking. I'll try to post some pics later.
I like this thread, one of the few bows I have not owned, but absolutely love. I've seen some beauties! Your choice Travis sounds as good as any.
Lets see some pics guys..............

One of the finest crafted bows that I have shot. Smooth and dead in the hand. I love them.
Now I see where all those good-looking Dye bows are hiding out.
Dirtybird,....you are hoarding! NICE!!
This one is 60", 56 @ 28". Cocobolo with a snakewood stripe and limb tips, checkered grip. Great shooting bow.

I don't know if I have ever seen a ugly Dale Dye bow. He is one of the finest bowyers I have ever dealt with.
Those are beauties, Dave. Killers, too.
I've got a few and I'll post some pics tomorrow..
Thanks guys, Dale is a great guy to deal with. I have a striped ebony and mexican rosewood trails end and it's a beutiful. Just looking for ideas for something different. This one is going to be lighter poundage and I'm just going to use it as a target bow. I have a little time left, I'm on the list for may or june.

I wish he had a shorter riser. 19" is too long.
Keith, if you shot one of Dale's bows I don't know if you could resist.
Pat, thank you. They all have blood on them. Ha ha...
Stykshooter - nice bows, especially the one piece. What's the wood combo in that one?
They are all great looking bows guys. Thanks for the pic's.

I follow you. I owned a 60" TE which was about a 55# bow. The long riser and 60" limbs gave it a particularly..."unique" profile. The most "unique" thing about it was how beautifully it came to full draw. With eyes blindfolded, I'd defy most guys to tell it from a 16" riser x 62" limbs. Not a screamer as bows go, but those limbs are smooooth!
I agree Kevin, not the fastest bows but they shoot where your looking. Well, most of the time.LOL :readit:
