I have shot one, my Fiance Helen had it custom made for her about 5 years ago. I think hers is 45# @ 25" draw.. she only shoots it a couple of times a year, I built her a couple of lighter draw longbows that she shoots most of the time. Like any other Check Mate bows I have seen it is well made. She is thinking about selling it

Have a Cascade Goshhawk, which is a Checkmate Longhorn made for and finished by Cascade. Absolutely stunning bow. Bubinga and rosewood with red elm limbs. Probably the most difficult bow to master that I've ever laid my hands on. The set-back riser is totally unforgiving and will magnify the slightest bow hand error. Relatively quick and accurate IF you do your part. Very quiet and shock-free. Mine is 60", 65#@28, pretty much only shoot it to keep my form and strength up. JMO.
