I have some tail-tapered 40-45# Surewoods (11/32 to 5/16).
One doz. weigh in at 385-395 grains and the other doz. weigh in at 400-410 grains.
These weights are bareshaft, 32" length.
About how much more would the 50-55# spine group weigh (with same taper)?
thanks for your help,
- Dave
OOPS! I found the tables on their website.
40-45 = 350-400 gr
50-55 = 370-420 gr
Now I'm wondering if they might go as heavy as 450 grain in the 50-55 group?

I have some 29" 50/55 and with a 135 grain broadhead they weigh around 560 grains. Perfect for what I wanted.RC
If you call them they can pretty much select the weights you want within a range.

.......as long as they have a variety of weights in stock of course.
I've got a dozen 50/55's in stock that are 460-470grs. After tapering them they would be about 450-460. Douglas fir comes in a wider range of weights than do a lot of other woods.
Thanks for the information guys!
