First off I want to thank Mike at Maddog Archery and David (Vermonster13) for doing what they do. They have an outstanding giveaway for the next generation of acrhers. My daughter, Lindsay was lucky enough to be drawn as one of the winners for the December giveaway.
I would like to share a few photos of my 4 year old daughter. This was her first time shooting a bow. As you can see from the photos we have to work on the form a bit, but it was a great experience. I know this bow means the world to Lindsay.
Lindsay showing off the fine workmanship of her new Maddog.

Lindsay started to get the hang of it after a few shots.

We had to finish up by shooting at the Daddy's Christmas present (Rinehart deer).

Hopefully we will have some good weather this weekend and we can get back out there.
Thank you David and Mike. You all's hard work put a smile on my face and started a little fire burning for next generation trad acrher.

Excellent!
What are the specs on the bow and arrows? I have some nephews about that age that I think might be game for archery.
-
Those ear muffs make for a great anchor point...LOL Priceless!

The bow was made by Mike @ Maddog Archery. It is a 48" Pup, #21@25" The arrows I picked up at Dicks. They are just some cheap youth arrows. I am going to be looking in to some Kid Stix and a little side quiver very soon.

Very nice and thanks to you two for sharing. I like that elevated shooting platform in the background of pic #5. It'll be good to practice from when she is a little older!

I'm so jealous, my oldest is only two and right now his plastic longbow with some of dads broken cedars (with duct tape ends) is all he can handle. Thanks again, I love to see the kids out shooting.

I am not sure on the fun part. I know I was having a great time. As for the growing up fast...it seems like it was yesterday when the nurse handed me a tiny little blessing for the first time.
