I recently changed from screw in weights to the 100gr brass inserts. However, this leaves me 25gr short. I used 100gr weights and the insert weighs about 25ish. Which gave me 125gr total. I have lost the rattle that always comes about in a few weeks, but have also lost the extra 25gr insert. Now my shafts still fly well, but have a little from being slightly stiff.
I use the 43gr aluminum broadhead screw in adapters, but need to go to 75gr to make up for the loss of the 25gr from the insert.
I have found several places that offer the 75gr steel screw in broadhead adapter, but all are out of stock.
Any ideas??
God Bless,
Nathan
I would think you could get 100gr inserts and grind 25gr off the tip to get the weight you need.
