ok, lets hear em! ya only get one, none of that this or this or this bit. makes a guy think, dont it?
for me, my wish is my idaho mountain goat tag. i REALLY want that one...
I'd like to see my son in law get his first Deer ever. He's been hunting 2.5 years and come close a time or two, but hasn't connected yet.
Hog hunt anywhere.
Shot at a bull moose!
More stingrays and a shark.
Idaho Brad? Why not one right here in good ole Wyo?
What I want for 2012 is to kill a bull elk tomorrow or Monday. My 2011 tag is still good, and it is a tough one to draw. I can't say I didn't have any chances though.
BEAR HUNT
tracy, i have a MUCH better chance of drawing in idaho, but i put in here too of course. one of these days....
Good luck Brad, dream hunt of mine as well.
To be proficient enough with my new bow setup to be able to bowhunt bears and blacktails on P.O.W. and Moose anywhere next fall
:archer2:
Maybe in 2012 I can kill a big game animal, any big game animal. But with my track record it don't look good. But I will forge on, and on, and on.........!
an elk with the longbow! but just a lot of fun trying would be a nice consolidation.
I want to take my two boys (14 and 8) bear hunting more than anything. We will go, I just hope we SEE bears. Maine hunt, so no easy task just to see 'em. I want to REALLY hammer the spark of trad hunting home.
to take a whitetail any whitetail with primitive gear all made by me
course i gotta build a bow and primitive arrows first
kevin
Hog hunt. I would love to kill myself a hog with home made equipment.
My wife dont know this yet. After I tell her I might not have one LOL! But I want to spend the whole month of September in the back country for elk. It still would be cheaper than going to Alaska moose hunting! The day I get out all I do is dream about is next September with a bunch of screamin bulls!
The same as the last 23 years, kill an elk with my longbow
I would wish for all my aches and pains to stop aching and paining. I wanna pay more attention to the hunt than I do my stupid bones.
Killdeer
Limit of deer all with the bow before trapping season comes in.
Fool a Wiley Coyote to get within bow range. That would be fun.
My wish for 2012 is for peace of mind for my mother. She developed dementia this spring and has gotten so bad she had to be place in assisted living.
Not screw up a chip shot, ever again.
My first big game with my bow...A bull moose!!
Good luck to every one!!
To take a deer while hunting from the ground.
My only wish is simply that God grant me the health and ability to spend as much time in the outdoors as possible. From there on out, its all good.
To have a safe one.
My first successful traditional hunt. Been at this for a couple of years. Missed several times. Need this to happen soon but love being in the woods.
Martin
To take my first turkey with a my bow.
My 2012 bowhunting wish is for all my trad brothers and sisters that haven't got their first trad elk, deer, bear or whatever else they are after is to get their first! I have been too blessed to wish for myself!!
This is for my wife, Laura...I hope she gets the buck she wants...worthy of mounting....8 points or better...over 180 lbs....short blood trail. She also has yet to kill a turkey. It would be a good year if she reached these goals.
See a deer.
Schafer
Get drawn for elk in Ky.
To have a great great week long deer camp with great friends, hopefully in a new Panther Primitive one poler!
I am going to make it a goal to practice a lot more with a longbow or recurve and take it to the woods a lot more than this year! Would love to get any kind of deer with it!
to get my woman back then tag an Ibex this week
To finnish Making my black wallnut longbow and take an elk with it. Hope I don't break it.
To have a successful hunt from the ground.
For me it'd be a whitetail...I know it doesn't seem to be asking a whole lot, but...for me it seems that they are my "white whale". I have been fortunate enough to connect on elk, muleys, turkeys, bear...but can't seem to put it together on whitetail...and we are surrrounded by them up here in N. Idaho.
Travis
A big, honkin', brown bear. Like this one. The big ones, their heads look like a pimple relative to their body. He's in 3-4 feet of water.

Only ONE?!
Tule Elk tag or California Big Horn.
Hunting gobs in Alabama prior to the KY season.
Plans are in motion!
Broadside 18 yard shot through the timber at a 6x6 elk. My recurring dream no kidding.
My daughter Mattie get her first deer
Colorado would have a traditional ONLY season for elk and muleys....
I have the sufficient health & energy to go and chase bull elk. I am not naive enough to think that folks, including myself, are guaranteed another season.
Seeing a photo of Paul Shafer holding a huge mountain lion in his arms has haunted me for YEARS!
That picture always remains in my mind.
I would love to and intend to one day hunt mountain lion with a recurve. Thats my bowhunting wish for 2012. I hope I could do it.Happy New Year everybody!
..........Philip
That my son Schafer gets a chance at a shot at a deer. I'm sure he'll handle the rest.
Hoping a big 150 class 12 pointer walks under my hunting partner's treestand.
Water buffalo.
To be able to continue to - :archer:
