Does anyone know what kind of rest came on the early (1963-64) Black Widows (HF model)?
I contacted BW but no luck.
Thanks

If it is a target bow, I would bet it had a feather rest.

Bill: I assume this was a hunting recurve. That's what it was used for and it's 49# which I'm guessing might be a little heavier than a target model.

Most of those bows used and came with the Hyot Pro stick on rest. I think they are still available.

Stringstretcher is correct. The Hoyt rest was probably the most popular back then, the Bear Weather rest was also popular.

Thanks guys.
Fixing up great grandpa's bow for the kids.

Cool photo. Nice bow. My cousin has a black BW similar from that era. Think it cost $35 new which was $10-$15 more than Bear or Pearson.

I twisted up a new string for this baby added some wool silencers. Dug out my old fiberglass arrows and did some shooting. As soon as the rest arrives, this baby is heading to the woods for the last two weeks of deer season. The grandkids can wait until they're grown. :)
