Gonna be in The Catskills hunting "Tree Rats" this January. Looking foward to a nice, relaxing, un-pressured hunt and walk through the woods with my bow. Might just turn into a stump shoot in the snow. How Cool Is That?! If you would like to join me check out Trad Events for dates and location.

Squirrels huh? Call me my friend if you need help dragging and Ill be there pronto!
I need this. Will try to get the time off...
Mike, have fun in the Catskills. Just don' end up like Rip Van Winkle! Lol :saywhat:
In the last couple of years I have tried my hand at rabbit and squirrels with a bow. I absolutely enjoy it. Shooting this game will make for a fun day with lots of laughs.
Mike, I will be sure to check it out. You have a beautiful place there. No wonder you sopend as much time as possible in the Catskills.
Got to get us some tree rats for Bill... I've heard he can cook 'em up so's they taste just like chicken.
... mike ...
Hey Mike,
I was out for them today in that piece we drove in that snow storm a couple years back. Didn't see any but it's usually loaded with them.
Mike, he'll prolly be too busy fishing.
Do ya mean "thinking about fishing" then finding cold cuts on sale someplace? :D
... mike ...
  :dunno:

I'm gonna try to get that cotton tail that distracted me opening day of bow season... There I was, in JLMBH flash-back mode when this nice buck walked right up on me, at eight yards, give or take! Oh Well... My Bad...
... mike ... :knothead: ...
"KILL THE WABBIT...KILL THE WABBIT"!Close call with that buck huh!You know,if you had been in a treestand.....just sayin'. :p
I was 15 yards from the house! Tree Stand? If I were only on the back deck........
... mike ...
If I had a special place like yours, I believe just being out with a bow in hand would do it for me.......however........that being said, a B&C squirrel or three for the pot would make for a great day!
Good luck Mike. Braised squirrel makes a great winter meal as well.
:campfire:
Can't wait to get up there Tony. Even if I just hang close around the house... And cook.

Mikey, thanks again for having us at your cabin this weekend. I had a great time. And to everyone, there's no doubt that you are some of the nicest, funniest, and layed back guys around. Thank you. Be safe, shoot straight.
YOO Hammer would have liked to have been there. Mikey Bamboo, Southpaw Scott and myself were in Bear Alley on The Delaware tryin' to wack Whitetails. :archer:
 Looks like a good time was had....like always!
Why all the cloths :bigsmyl:
Great Job On The Photos Tyler! Glad to have you there...
... mike ...
It was a great time with great guys! Btw, six bunnies (and a mouse) fell to the bows today!
I had a great time and learned a few things too. Mike sure puts on a good shoot. As the FNG of the group I can say that picking a spot is very important especially when there are small trees in the way. :)
You didn't have to admit to the tree shot I could tell who belonged to that arrow center punched in that sapling!
Great Pictures Tyler!
Score another one for Mike.
Looks like you had a great time. What was the temp. that day?
Think it was about 20 degrees... :dunno:
