Title: limb twist???
Post by: String Cutter on December 27, 2011, 09:12:00 PM
Is it possible for your string to track right and the limbs to be twisted??? I have an old herter that was under my dad's bed for years. I straightened the limbs to were they go back into the string grooves perfect ... But when I look down the limb it still looks like it has some twist to it??? Should I tinker with it some more or leave it alone?? Will the twist effect the shooting of the bow even if it is tracking right??

It may still have a little twist in it but if it shoots good and the string returns to the grooves afterwords I wouldn't bother with it.

Yeah, What He Said....  :goldtooth:   I had an Old Cravotta Bros. Recurve that did what you are talking about.
