About 2 years ago i went through a divorce and lost everything. I stayed drunk for at least 6 months and weighed 260lbs at my highest.
Several people on this site called me and i even met with several of them and i'm glad to tell everyone i haven't had a drink since June 16 2011.
I finally got back on track and got a great job with a lot of free time in the winter and i have lost 40lbs since June 16 2011.
Rod Jenkins, Kim Burrows, Lamey, Sue with Dryar bows,Big Jim and his wife, TJ, Rich Lopez, Joe, Chad from Mississippi who makes strings, Chuckbow and several others have always been so helpful to me ever since i started shooting trad 3 years ago.
I would also like to think Bob Morison and his wonderful wife Barb for helping me out during those difficult times.
I also discovered the beauty of the bow again and how it moves my soul when i pick up a bow.
I have come to realize that life can be so beautiful when a person takes some action instead of sitting around worring about there problems.
Shoot straight my friends and i hope this next year will be as good as my last 6 months have been.
Joe,
The tough times in life help us cherish the good things. Good to hear your journey is going well now.
Merry Christmas right back at you. May all the joys of the season be yours.
Joe

karrow you are exactly right i am high on life. I may have lost most all my stuff but hey, i'm working better than ever and have some bows bought and ordered, had to sell 42 Bear bows and 7 custom bows during that time.
I am happier now with a WHOLE lot less material items because i have discovered when you have the big house and new cars it takes a lot out of a person to keep things going,
I felt like i was chasing my taile for 10 years but now i have a 1,600 square foot house thats paid for by my Grandmother and i'm out of dept.
Life is grand guys and i love you all, take care.
Merry Christmas to you too brutha!
Glad to hear things are coming around for you.
Pick a spot, & Shoot low....
