I know the Sparrowhawk has an extra lam and narrower, slimmer limbs, does this do anything to reduce the felt handshock? What about performance? This is in comparison to the original Hawk. Thanks
I know some of you have shot both.
Do a search and you will find some information. You might PM Rob. He has or has had both.
I have both. Here is my thread on the subject:

XXX3! :nono: Hand shock?????
I love my Mowhawk classic but the Sparrowhawk is the most deadly acurate and quite bow I own...I'll order another in the 65lb range soon..I dont notice hand shock on either but there is just something about that sparrowhawk that just feels right. Did I mention its deadly accurate.
first sparrowhawk to fly (http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=107110#000000)
Thanks Rob, that's what I was looking for and couldn't find.
As to the handshock, I know there is very little in the Mohawk, especially for a mild R/D bow, but it's there. Course, until someone finds a way to make a bow 100% efficient, there will always be some.
