Title: Fletch Height
Post by: ttamasy on December 14, 2011, 09:33:00 PM
I'm going to be switching from 5" to 4" parabolic feathers.  Where should you fletch them, as far back or as far forward as possible.  With a 6 3/8" brace I didn't have much of a choice but to set the feathers as far back as possible.  You're help would be much appreciated.

You can fletch at any distance, but make sure you leave enough room for your fingers, at full draw. Don

As long as you have enough clearing for your fingers when your arrow is on the string and you grab the string to pull back.

You want enough clearance so your fingers can grab the string and not the feathers.
