Got the call today from Ron, my new shrews were shipped yesterday and should be here Monday or Tuesday! I can't wait, looks like it will be an early christmas this year! Last January my fiance ordered me one for a wedding present. We got married in August and she knew it probably wouldn't be ready until our first anniversary, but she knew I wanted another shrew. She kept in a secret so the same week she ordered it i ordered one as well! Anyway I got a call from Ron about 2 weeks ago and he said for various reasons they were flying through the list and I was up for both bows, months ahead of schedule!
I ordered a 60", 60# Super Shrew, Bow bolt, Macassar veneers and Zircote riser and a 56", 50# Classic hunter with carbon/foam, bow bolt and grey curly birch veneers.
Hopefully I will have pictures very very soon!
That is one hell of a woman! Just remember a couple of things: "I am sorry" and "Yes Honey". Congrats on the bows and marriage!
Good for you bud!!
Congrats !!!

A very Merry Christmas you might say!
Great wood combinations! I'm waiting for the pictures.

Some pics! They don't do the bows justice. I will have to get some tomorrow outside. They both shoot like a dream. I can't wait to get them fine tuned and make some meat with them! I maybe even this season. I am so happy with how these both came out, they are even more beautiful than the last shrew I ordered.

Make sure to post some pictures when you get it!
My wife is great and it helps to explain that the compound I bought 3 years ago cost almost $1500 all set up and is worth maybe $300-$400 now. A shrew was less than that, looks pretty and holds it's value!
Wow Greg, Absolutely beautiful!! I know you"ll put them to good use :clapper:
Will do! I think the compounding effect of the butt whippin' from my wife had to do with a new bow from Chad Holm, a bill from KUIU, a Mountain Goat hunt deposit paid, AND my new Shrew that wasn't supposed to get until Feb :) Like I said, she's getting some jewelry love from Santa. Might save my life!
After seeing that grey lookin' beauty of yours I think I have an idea for another...oh boy.

Hahah. Sounds like a great year! I was told that I wasn't getting much for Christmas since i got a Seekoutside Tipi last month for my birthday, these 2 bows and another elk hunt planned in September! I always say there are way worse things I could be spending my money on!
