Which two piece take-down system design generally contributes the most mass weight to the riser?

It would be the steel sleeve design Friend.Especially the large one as it comes in both small and large.I get the small though and have the grip bult up and shaped/contoured with bondo or other filler and add a leather wrap. Its nice!

I also would say Bow Bolt that is what we are doing on the our Takedowns we are now offering. You should have at least a Phenolic I beam for strength with them.

might be the bow bolt because of the re-enforcement needed. but the steel sleeve sure would and some weight to. I've never shot a bow with the bow bolt, but the loc-it soc-it that BW and others use is one slick system.

I just picked up a 2pc Kohannah longbow with the bow bolt. Seems to be a good thing....not to heavy and feels just like a longbow.
